Welcome and thank you for visiting Mortal Kombat Nexus. The extremely popular yet controversial Mortal Kombat franchise has been around for more than a decade and for much of that time, hundreds of fan web sites have come and gone across the Internet scene. Many in the mid to late 90's were meant for quick move lists, images/art, news, rare updates (if at all), mediocre layouts and in most cases abandoned. There just didn't seem to be enough Mortal Kombat sources on the web that would go the extra mile in providing quality post coverage for all of the games while remaining up-to-date with regular updates. As the 90's came to a close and just barely into the new millennium, the dawn of a new era began in the Mortal Kombat Community.
Mortal Kombat Nexus struck the web in February 2000 at a low point in the Mortal Kombat series during the later production days of the action/adventure title Mortal Kombat: Special Forces. However, this was the perfect opportunity for Mortal Kombat Nexus to shine and showcase its commitment to the fans by releasing a step-by-step walkthrough guide of the game in which very few sites could offer at the time. This would quickly become a standard in what the site had the ability to offer and since then has proven to produce the most comprehensive post game coverage, media and exclusive features all in a fast, organized, consistent and easy to navigate layout. Mortal Kombat Nexus was the first Mortal Kombat web site in the world to release the move lists for the last two major titles of the series Mortal Kombat: Deception and Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. To date, the site was not the only the first to release but also to feature complete character pages for the entire roster of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. The site has even had the privilege of attending and reporting live from the last E3 convention in 2006.
Mortal Kombat Nexus, just a few short years after its debut has remained as one of the most visited Mortal Kombat fan sites in the world and listed as just the second ranked unofficial Mortal Kombat fan site in Google. The site also boasts one of the Mortal Kombat Community's most active message forums built from the ground up since its inception. Mortal Kombat Nexus is easily the complete package in the realm of Mortal Kombat coverage and fan interaction. Join us as we continue to follow and document the progress of this phenomenal video game franchise each and every day. Long live Mortal Kombat!
